| Our New Home |
Here are some pictures from our first few days in Denver!
The house is beautiful. I have my own office. We have a basement with TONS of storage, and there's a backyard with a small basketball court. I forgot how much I missed doing work in the yard. Our condo in D.C. had a rather sizable balcony, but it got weird light so we rarely planted anything out there. Just today I filled 5 lawn bags with leaves. And I have the blisters to prove it. Condo living certainly made me soft.
Without further adieu:
| We're here! |
| It's pretty incredible seeing the mountains |
| Failing to resist the temptation to Instagram. |
| 1 block from our front door. Can't wait to train for my next marathon! |
| This was in Littleton, as I was out running errands. |
| My office! A few things have changed around, but it basically looks like this |
| Peter's mom had my wedding bouquet preserved. Obviously condensed. I'm in love with it! |
| This is me as I did yard work today. It was 70 degrees, and I was SWEATING! |
| Our first real-size Christmas tree! |
That's it for now. I feel so at home here. And thanks to FaceTime, I'm not as homesick for D.C. as I thought I'd be.
Warmly,
Emily
